I Bought A Swimsuit For The First Time In 8 Years | Self Love Sunday

I’ve been doing really good lately about NOT online shopping during this Covid-19 pandemic, but when my grandmother sent me some Easter money, and Old Navy emailed me a sale ad, I found myself browsing for swimsuits online.

Now, I currently own 2 swimsuits. I own the one that I’ve had for about 12 years that fits me, and the one that I bought when I was at my lowest weight that I save “just in case” I reach that weight again.

While browsing the swimsuits, I found this one, and completely fell in love with it. I love the blue and white seersucker pattern, and the cap sleeves give it a vintage look that I love.

I ended up ordering it in my current size, still with the goal of getting healthier and potentially losing weight. One reviewer on the website posted a picture of herself wearing it, and I think it will work well even after a bit of weight is lost.

I also love it because I think it would look cute with a pair of light linen shorts on the beach. I have no idea how it will actually look on me when I try it on, but I’ll do a try on post once it arrives.

I don’t know what this Summer will bring, or if we will even be able to go to the beach and pool due to the quarantine, but I’m hopeful I’ll get to wear it at least once.

I’m tired of taking Mason places in the Summer, only to just watch everyone else have fun from the sidelines because I don’t feel comfortable wearing a swimsuit.
