Just One More | A Poem

I wrote this poem today, June 5th 2024. It is inspired by a practice I’ve been using in my every day life for a while now. When something minor inconveniences me, or when I feel down about something, I imagine what it would be like to experience this moment or feeling for the last time. Just one more storm, one more sweltering summer day, one more power outage and board games played by candlelight. A change of perspective can change your life.
