In A Holidaze | WWS Book Club

I love reading a good holiday themed book this time of year. When In A Holidaze by Christina Lauren was released, I knew I wanted it to be my book for December.

Brief Overview

In A Holidaze follows Maelyn Jones on an annual Christmas vacation with her family in a snowy Utah cabin. It’s a trip they take annually with her parent’s college friends and their children. This book is Groundhog Day with a holiday flare, and I’m here for it! While on the way to the airport after spending Christmas at the cabin, Maelyn and her family get into a car accident, but instead of waking up in the hospital, Maelyn wakes up holidazed and confused on the airplane, on the way TO the cabin for Christmas. There she is forced to relive the week over and over until she gets things right.

Thoughts

I love reading Holiday themed books this time of year, and In A Holidaze did not disappoint. I would read it any time of year for a fun read. The characters were easy to love and understand. I would definitely recommend reading it.

Fun Fact: Christina Lauren is actually two people! It’s the pen name for long-time writing partners and best friends Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings.
