June’s Book | The Southern Book Club’s Guide To Slaying Vampires

I am SO excited to dig into June’s book, I can’t even contain my excitement!

I first heard about The Southern Book Club’s Guide To Slaying Vampires when I was researching new releases to order. I saw this one before it was released and almost pre ordered it, but held off. When looking into books to June, I immediately remembered it and ordered it from Amazon!

This book is about a group of Southern housewives in the 90s who form a book club to escape their day to day lives. When kids start going missing and the mysterious newcomer in town turns out to be a vampire, our protagonist Patricia and her book club gals are the only ones standing between him and their community.

This book has been referred to as “Steel Magnolias meets Dracula”, and is said to be a really fun and campy horror read. I can’t wait to dive in!

Due to the pandemic craziness and this whole new way of life, I didn't get my review or April up, or a book posted for May, but I’m allowing myself some grace on that one! I’ll do my best to get them up regularly going forward!
