The Perfect Navy & White Summer Dress | Plus Size Style Guide

A couple of years ago, I remember sitting in Mason’s room folding laundry, and I hopped on Instagram Stories to talk about fashion. I asked whoever was watching what their idea style was, or what they wish they could dress like if they weren’t afraid.

For me, I’ve always been inspired by classic New England / East Coast preppy looks but didn’t think I could pull it off due to being plus size. This Summer during quarantine I decided to order some dresses from Old Navy, and I ended up loving them. I finally feel like I’m able to try some new looks and embrace the style I’ve been admiring on other people for so long.

The Details:

Dress: Old Navy (no longer available).I LOVE this dress because its so flows and light weight. It’s perfect for Summer. Old Navy has a lot of similar styles, so even though this one is no longer available, you should be able to find something comparable.

Headband: Amazon. I bought this headband in a set and LOVE all of them. If you know me, you know I can never get enough headbands, so these ones are a great inexpensive option.

Purse: Lauren by Ralph Lauren from The Shoe Company ( no longer available). I wish this purse was still available to share with you guys because I am OBSESSED! Navy and white stripes are my favourite pattern, and I love the style and texture of this bag. The Shoe Company has a lot of great bags at really low prices (and free shipping right now!) so I encourage you to check them out!

Shoes: Sperry I couldn’t find the exact ones I’m wearing online, but I’m sharing the website anyway because I love them ALL!

Sunglasses: Ray Ban Wayfarer 2 Classic. I bought these during a 30% off sale a couple months ago and love them!
