Novel Update! Did I Write An Entire Novel In November?
National Novel Writing Month is every November, and it’s a great way for writers and author hopefuls like myself to join the effort to write a 50 000 word novel in one month. As I wrote in my last post, I spent all of October prepping for NaNoWriMo, so I could spent November really digging in and spending as much time as possible on my novel.
So, did I write a novel in November?
I did not. But I’m 10 000 words in and feeling REALLY good about it! National Novel Writing Month was a great kick start for me, and really motivated me to try and write a little bit every day. Now that I’m in the habit of writing almost daily, I have no doubts my first draft will be finished within the next couple of months.
I really want to take an upcoming publishing leisure course at one of our local universities this Spring, and see how far I can take this! I truly believe in the novel I’m writing and would love to see it published.
If you guys like these novel updates, I’ll keep posting them as I go!
I’m so proud of myself for even starting this novel to be honest. It feels great to work towards something with a set goal in mind. What’s a goal of yours for the new year that you hope to accomplish?
