It’s love month! Last year I wrote about my second solo Valentines Day, where I bought myself some plants, made a heart shaped cake for my son and I, and went for a hike. The year before, I went on a Galentines Day dinner with my friends from work.

I’ve just always LOVED Valentines Day, whether I have a partner to spend it with or not, but this year I’m especially excited to spend it with Kris!

This year, I’ve seen a few staycation options for Valentine’s Day (& options for Galentine’s Day with your friends!), so I wanted to share them here!

A Galentine’s Day Staycation at the delta

This year, the Delta has a couple of awesome Valentine’s Packages, and one of them is a Galentine’s Day staycation! I have info about a Valentine’s deal for the Hilton listed below!)

A lot of people think Valentine’s Day is just for couples, but any Galentine’s Day event I’ve been to in the past have been SO fun! You don’t need a significant other to celebrate Valentine’s Day!

The Galentine’s Day deal at the Delta includes:

One night’s accommodation in a room with 2 queen beds
A bottle of wine waiting for you in your room
Housemade charcuterie box
$50 downtown Fredericton or Fredericton North dollars
Complimentary parking

This Galentine’s Day deal is $190+ tax and is available from Feb 12th-15th 2022

a valentine’s day staycation at the delta

This is the option that Kris and I chose, and we are SO excited! A couple of our friends have also decided to do this deal, so we are also excited to have a drink with them in the lobby after dinner. I stayed in a king room at the Delta with my son a couple years ago after winning one night’s accommodations through my work, and we loved it.

This deal includes:

One night’s accommodations in a King room
A three-course dinner from Stmr.36 served at your own private VIP table in your guestroom
Choice of $50 downtown dollars OR Fredericton North dollars
Complimentary parking
Access to the indoor pool and fitness center, Grove Cafe, lobby bar, in room Netflix etc.

The menu below is what they’re offering for the Valentine’s meal. We’ve eaten at Stmr.36 once before and loved it, so we’re really excited to try some new options!

This Valentine’s package is $209.99+tax, and you can pay an extra $14 to have chocolate covered strawberries waiting in your room! This deal is for Feb 12th and Feb 14th.

valentine’s day at the Hilton garden inn

I LOVE the Hilton Garden Inn and it’s the go-to place for some of my close friends to stay when they are in town. I’ve written several blog posts about Hilton hang-outs that we’ve done, and it’s one of my favourite spots downtown!

Their Valentine’s deal includes:

Breakfast for two
Sparkling wine in room
$50 Downtown dollars
Complimentary Parking

The price isn’t listed directly on their ad, but clicking onto the booking site, it looks like this deal is around $180. I would check with the Hilton directly for more information!

valentine’s day at the radisson!

I LOVE The Radisson! It’s where I got my boudoir photos by Ashley Marie Creative Studios done last year (see example below), and its a beautiful hotel!

Their Valentine’s Day package includes:

1 Night’s Deluxe King Accomodations
A chilled bottle of prosecco and sweet treat in room
A three course dinner for two (which you can enjoy at their waterfront lobby bar, or in your room)

This deal MAY not be available any longer, as it advises you to book before Feb 4th, however if you’re interested, it doesn’t hurt to call and ask! This package is $240+ tax.

valentine’s day at the ramada

If you prefer staying on the North side, the Ramada also has a Valentine’s Day deal. It includes:

Two complimentary hot breakfasts
50 Fredericton North dollars that can be redeemed at their Courtyard Restaurant
Complimentary champagne and chocolates in your room
Late checkout available for 3PM

This deal is advertised as $179

valentine’s day at the crowne plaza

I’ve been to events at the Crowne Plaza before, and it’s SUCH a beautiful hotel! They have a Valentine’s Day deal, but I was unable to find a price listed for it, so contact them if interested!

Their deal includes:

One night accomodation
Free parking
$50 downtown dollars
Sparkling wine on arrival

I didn’t see any staycation deals for the Fredericton Inn, but they are doing a special Valentine’s Day dinner! Check out the menu below!
