The Best Flannel Button Down | Plus Size Style Guide

It’s been a little bit since I’ve posted anything fashion related, so I HAD to share one of my go-to items of the season.

I haven’t been posting much lately just because life has been busy. My mind has been busy this past month- overthinking other aspects of my life, testing the waters with dating and meeting new people. Dating at 30 during a pandemic is hard, y’all.

Anyway, the clothes. So earlier this Fall I started searching for the perfect flannel button down. As you know, plus size clothes are more expensive than regular sizes, so I had a hard time finding anything for under $60. Even Old Navy, which is my usual go to for stuff like that didn’t have anything, and I hate paying for shipping, so I checked Amazon. And that’s when I found her.

The headband is another new favourite of mine, and was purchased at Marshall’s.

It’s a known fact that men’s clothes are less expensive than women’s, even for the exact same thing. I ended up finding the perfect flannel button down- it comes in 28 colours (literally 28), and sizes XS to 8XL.

I bought two- a blue one in my normal size, and this green one a few sizes bigger. My goal was to wear it as a dress with a belt and tights, but it ended up being cute tied up too, as shown here. It’s literally long enough to wear as a dress though so I’m going to try that next.

The prices vary by about $5 depending on what colour and size you choose, but when I bought it, they were around $30 with free shipping on Prime.
